Nonprofits in Troubled Times

March 5, 2009 8:45 am to 9:45 am

Are you tired of hearing about “troubled times” and “tough economy” and want to work with other organizations and our nonprofit community on solutions? Many New Mexico nonprofits will feel a pinch but there is much that can be done to minimize it.

HOW?
Join other non-profit agency leaders in a facilitated round table discussion on weathering challenging economic times. Will you diversify funding sources? Perform a deeper analysis on programs and services? Consider merging / collaborating? Change your accounting?

Discuss what others around the US are doing, learn from each other, consider social enterprise, and build a stronger local network to help sustain our community’s nonprofit infrastructure.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Non-profit executives, financial managers, board leaders and others with leadership responsibilities.

FACILITATED BY
· Jean Block and Randy Gleason, Social Enterprise Ventures
· Drew Tulchin, Social Enterprise Associates
