Cafe Scientifique: Fossil Fuels and Managing CO2
About half of the man-made CO2 emissions to the atmosphere in the United States come from burning oil products like gasoline. Another third comes from burning coal and the remainder comes from natural gas. To solve the climate problem, we have to either stop producing CO2 or figure out how to store it. Cafe Scientifique will explore the options for storing it and how that buys time for alternative energy solutions.
