NO BALANCE: a 5th Deathiversary Tribute to COIL’s Jhonn Balance

Nov.13th is the evening of the 5th Deathiversary of Jhonn Balance, singer-songwriter and co-founder of the influential music group COIL. 13 local acts will be memorializing Jhonn by covering his work and ideals through music, film and collaboration. COIL continue to be one of the most influential and renown Experimental and Industrial music groups in the world even after Jhonn’s untimely death. Note: This program deals with adult themes and is not appropriate for children.

The Process has pulled together an array of truly diverse musical acts including Electronic, Folk, Punk, Experimental, Spoken Word, Rock, Video and the “Undefinable” for this unique show, made up entirely of local talent and ingenuity! They include:

To all those attending the COIL show: please bring something to sit on! Pillows, chairs, blankets, slaves or whatever. There are only a few chairs available and they will go fast, but there is a lot of empty floor to use if you can make it comfortable. This show will reflect the works of COIL. Adult themes will be explored. Parental Discretion Advised.
