Ambient music pioneer Robert Rich is touring North America to support his new album, Ylang. Venues include planetariums, cathedrals, art museums and university recital halls. Drawing from decades of recorded work, his concerts blend composition and improvisation in a fluid continuum, creating a hypnotic atmosphere. Rich’s performances will include live electronics with analog modular synthesizer, keyboards and computer, along with his signature handmade flutes and steel guitar. Nathaniel Bartett visits Santa Fe on Saturday January 30 for a virtuoso marimba performance at the Complex. Nathaniel Bartlett has performed all across the US—from Maine to California, Minnesota to Texas—in a wide variety of venues: art galleries, museums, concert halls, dance spaces, warehouses, lofts, multi-purpose art spaces, universities & colleges, etc.  He is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music (Rochester, NY), the Royal Academy of Music (London), the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and studied privately with marimbist Leigh Howard Stevens.
